Originally from Brazil but raised and influenced by many different cultures, Bruna Fortune pulls from her mixed background to create various styles of stories and art.

She rarely follows a recipe, is a hopeless romantic, and has a habit of daydreaming, BUT she has been working on her YA fantasy novel for the past six years, speaks three languages, and has an amazing, beautiful, imperfect family. 

She’s grateful to UCSD’s Children’s Book Illustration program for helping her turn her passion into a career and to all her travels and adventures for their never-ending inspiration.
